You will also be given a range of templates to get started with.
Cain & Beer can also set you up online accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks and offer you tutorials in how to use these to benefit your business.

Case study: Cambridge
Louisa had just started doing the bookkeeping for a new client prior to lockdown but now needed to learn a cloud based alternative accounting software. She had a VAT return looming and lots to catch up on and needed help fast.
All the local Xero trainers Louisa contacted could not help her as the lessons are usually classroom based which were not allowed during lockdown. Louisa contacted her friend Fay Wallis as she is a member of Sutton BNI and she hoped she might know someone.
As it turned out Paul Cain is in the same BNI Chapter as Fay and it was an easy introduction for her to make.
Paul contacted Louisa and scheduled in 5-hour long sessions via Zoom for Xero and Hubdoc training so distance and meeting in person was not an issue.
The Zoom training sessions were broken down for each module (Hubdoc & Setup, Contacts, Bank, Financials and Expenses. The sessions were all booked in advance at times to suit her busy schedule and the training was all at Louisa’s pace. Louisa booked in an extra session to go through filing her client’s VAT return, so she had peace of mind.
At the end of the course Louisa felt confident to take on more client’s bookkeeping using Xero and Hubdoc which was music to Paul’s ears.
