Paul Cain

Paul Cain – Managing Director

Paul has been involved in accounts and bookkeeping since leaving school and during this time has developed a vast knowledge of various businesses and software packages, although he predominantly uses Sage. Paul is a member of the ICB, IAB and IAAP and his main role is to ensure existing clients receive an unrivalled service, he also spends a lot of time training and networking. He enjoys helping SMEs develop solid financial structure and assisting with systems and internal processes.

Veron Grant – Office Manager

Having started as a professional temp in the mid-eighties, I later worked for the NHS for several years which I loved, however I missed the challenging role of being a secretary and went on to work for a very large utility company for many years. Having been made redundant. I returned to professional temping and was head hunted for a Senior PA position and worked restaurant owners in London for several years that later received a Michelin Star.  Alongside this position, I was also responsible for looking after the High Sheriff of Greater London.

Martin Brooks – Account Manager

Martin is an AAT qualified accountant and was trained at a chartered accountants practice where he gained invaluable knowledge and experience in bookkeeping & accountancy. Martin has provided accountancy support for various businesses such as multiple holiday and residential parks, a café, delicatessen, filing station, construction industry, insurance, window cleaner, florist, nightclub, vintage interiors, software development and more. Martin frequently uses Xero, Quickbooks Online & Sage 50.

Sam Warwick-Rolf

Samantha Warwick-Rolf – Account Manager

Sam joined Cain & Beer in March 2014 having previously worked for Paul she has been bookkeeping for nearly 20 years and during this time has worked for a number of businesses including a cafe, bakery, healthcare and fashion but started her career working at a building company. Sam currently looks after 3 clients in and around the Maidstone area she is a huge asset to the business.

Caroline Mills

Caroline Mills – Marketing

Caroline joined the Cain & Beer team to bring a fresh pair of eyes to our marketing and branding. Previously Caroline has worked within fashion and more recently publishing as a design manager, with her interests predominantly in the visual aspects of a product or brand. She is also looking forward to getting involved in the ‘Curry & Beer’ nights.

Ken

Ken Tait – Business Consultant

Ken Tait helps businesses and organisations to save money by becoming more efficient and effective with their systems and processes. Drawing on 30+ years’ experience within the public, private and voluntary sectors, Ken uses a holistic approach, combining project management techniques alongside coaching and mentoring, to bring a different perspective to your business. He will help you analyse and assess where changes can be made to enable your systems to run more smoothly and efficiently, ultimately saving you money.

Ken’s areas of expertise include: systems analysis and thinking, business processes, change management, organisational development, procurement, project management, coaching, mentoring, counselling and stress management.

Stuart

Stuart Kelly – Business Consultant

Stuart Kelly is a business consultant who works with businesses and organisations to help them develop their staff and improve their effectiveness. With 25+ years’ experience in the charity and international telecoms sectors, including 15+ years at senior management level, Stuart has a strategic approach to helping you review and analyse your business and its operations. He will work either as a consultant or come on board with you as an interim manager to help you analyse and improve how your business or organisation is run.

Stuart’s areas of expertise include: governance, finance, project/programme management, change management and business development.
